WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each week we want you to feel comfortable as you
come and experience the authentic relationship you can have with Jesus
Christ and with one another. We know your first visit with us will bring up
some questions:
How do I get to F.B.C. Okemos?
We are located 1/4 of a mile south of the Meridian
Mall. Our address is 4684 Marsh Road. Please feel free to
call us at 517.349.2830 if you need directions or click on our contact
link to the right for more information.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned with meeting your needs than
with what you wear. Most people dress casual to semi-casual.
Dress how you feel comfortable and you'll fit right in.
What's available for my kids?
If you come for our 9:30 a.m. Bible Fellowship Hour,
we have classes from Infant through 5th grade. If you come for our
Worship Celebration at 10:45 a.m., children have their very own worship
in our Kid's For Christ area around 11:15 a.m. The
children will be dismissed during the morning worship.
What about my teens?
We have a dynamic youth ministry for your teen.
They meet at various times throughout the week for various events. If you have any further
questions, feel free to contact the church office.
What about other ministries you have
to offer?
Our website is a wonderful tool to give you a basic
look at our ministry. Check out the rest of this site to get an
idea of what we are all about.
What should I expect in church?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, we
strive to make you feel right at home. Our greeter team will help
you find anything you need and take you where you need to go.
Everything you need to know for our morning worship
is printed in the Sunday Bulletin. Even before our worship begins,
we have a rotation of PowerPoint slides that gives you the latest
information about events and ministries at F.B.C. Okemos.
Our worship service is designed to be
life-transforming and challenging. Every Sunday is a little bit
different. We sing a wide-variety of contemporary choruses as well
as traditional hymns. Our music ministry, led by Teressa
Lewandowski, is top-notch using a variety of instruments and genres
during our worship. Joe Dabrowski, F.B.C.'s lead pastor is an
engaging teacher who brings the Bible to life and offers practical
principles for everyday living.
Our mission as a fellowship is very simple: To
encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous relationship with
Jesus Christ. We would love for you to stop by and join us this
Sunday for our Worship Celebration at 10:45 a.m. You'll feel right
at home!
