AWANA Grand Prix Event

What is AWANA?
AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is an international, non-denominational, Bible-centered youth ministry. The AWANA program aims to reach children and teenagers with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. At First Baptist Church of Okemos, we are proud to host this event and provide an opportunity for children and families to connect and engage in faith-based activities.

Participating in the AWANA Grand Prix

- Register: Sign up for the AWANA Grand Prix by visiting our website or contacting our church office. The registration process is simple, and there is no cost to participate.
- Build Your Car: Use your imagination and creativity to design and construct your own wooden car. Participating children will receive a car kit to customize and prepare for the race.

Event Details
The AWANA Grand Prix event will take place on March 20, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Okemos. The day's schedule includes:
- Check-In: All participants should arrive for check-in at the designated registration booth. Here, you will receive your race number and additional event information.
- Race Judging: Prior to the main race, cars will go through a judging process where creativity, design, and craftsmanship are assessed. This encourages participants to put their best effort into crafting their cars.
- Main Race: Excitement fills the air as participants gather to watch, cheer, and support their fellow racers as they compete to be the fastest car on the track.
