LEAD
PASTOR - JOE DABROWSKI Joe Dabrowski is our senior pastor. Before accepting this position at the First Baptist Church of Okemos, he served as an associate pastor for seven years. He is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia [Associates of Arts in Bible and Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministries] and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan [Masters of Divinity Degree].
His wife Jody is also a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in accounting. They have been married for nineteen years and have four children: Seph [15] and Jillian [13], Chloe [5] and Caleigh [4].
If there is one attribute that describes Joe, it is passion. A passion for God, a passion for the ministry and a passion to see the lives of people radically changed into Christ-like disciples. >> EMAIL JOE<<
ASSOCIATE
PASTOR - PAUL PELLE Paul joined our ministry team as Associate Pastor in June of 2008. He received his Master's of Divinity Degree from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining our staff, he taught for two years at Elkton Christian Academy in Elkton, Maryland.
Paul brings with him not only the education, but the experience. What excites us about Paul and his wife, Becky, is they are coming as a couple to make an indelible impression in this ministry and have already done so. They have two daughters, Abbi [2] and Ainsley Paige [1]. >>EMAIL PAUL<<
DIRECTOR
OF MUSIC - TERESSA LEWANDOWSKI Teressa is our Director of Music who began her ministry with our church in April of 1998. She attended Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama majoring in Church Music. Before coming to Okemos, she served in two churches: Trinity Baptist Church in Roanoke, Alabama and Maranatha Baptist Church in Logan, Utah.
Her husband of twenty-three years, John, is the Associate Athletic Director for Communications at Michigan State University. They have two children: Brock [15] and Davis [13].
Anyone who walks through the doors of F.B.C. will immediately notice the God-given musical talent within our fellowship. Her knowledge and her desire of music has taken this ministry to the next level. >>EMAIL TERESSA<<
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
- PAM BERTILRUD Pam Bertilrud began her tenure as our Administrative Assistant in October of 2008. She is an incredible asset to our team as she brings with her a wealth of talent and ability to our ministry team.
She and her husband, Mark, and two boys, Erik and Kai, came to First Baptist as a result of the On Goal Soccer Ministry. Pam is involved in the Music Ministry here at church, and also teaches piano and has her own photography business. >>EMAIL PAM<<
