FBC Student Ministry

Our goal is to glorify God by developing and equipping students to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

The teenage years are a very important stage of life that is difficult to navigate through.  Whether it is personal changes as they grow and mature, to challenges they may face at school, to questions of identity, there is a lot that they have to sort through.  We hope to partner with parents to help them raise godly men and women who will greatly influence their world for Christ. With that in mind, we offer a variety of resources for middle school and high school students in grades 6 through 12:

Sunday Morning Bible Fellowship

This is a laid back time of Bible study and conversation on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the youth room.

Wednesday Night Student Gatherings

Our Wednesday night gatherings are designed to be a time for students from 6th – 12th grade to learn about and worship God, hang out with their friends, and build relationships with our youth leaders.  Join us Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in our Youth Room for a time of worship through music, Bible study, small groups and other activities.

Snow Camp

This is a highlight each year where we head up to either Lake Ann Camp or Camp Barakel and participate in their winter camps.  Besides this being a fun weekend, it is a great opportunity to connect with the students as we spend a weekend together being challenged through God’s Word.

Teen Leadership Conference

Every other year we take a group of high school students to the campus of Clarks Summit University in Clarks Summit, PA for their Teen Leadership Conference.  Over the years, we have seen this week be one of the most spiritually significant events in the lives of our students.

Other Events

Each month we try to have other events that enable our students to get together to hang out and have fun in a safe environment such as Reverb, our annual all night event, S.N.A.C. (Sunday Night After Church), Destination Unknowns, and even serving opportunities such as Kids Camp VBS and On Goal Soccer Camp.  In order to make sure that these events don’t break the bank we run a concession stand for all home MSU Spartan football games.

If you are looking for a church to call “home” or simply want to drop in and check things out, we would love to get to know you.  See you soon!  Call Paul at 517-349-2830 if you have any questions.
